RIP Michael Gough

 I turned on the news last night to find that Batman's butler had died!! I had thought for many years that Michael Gough had left stage right many years ago so I was very surprised to find that he had been alive all the time. He is of course is best known being the butler to three sucessive Batmans, but he also starred in over 100 films over a very long career.
 He has been in the likes of The Boys From Brazil, Sleepy Hollow, and the recent Alice in Wonderland. He joins Jane Russell in being the second actor to have died this month.
